Usman Farooqui, CFA is a founding partner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Intrepid Capital Management, where he leads the firm's operations, & Investment Management Activities. Usman was previously Investment DIrector for the Ajlan & Bros Group, which is one of the largest family offices in Saudi Arabia. At Ajlan, Usman actively managed a global public equities portfolio and advised on group investments in Private equity, Hedge funds and US Real estate. Before joining Ajlan Group, Usman served as Head of Equity research and then Vice President of the International Equity Sales for Alfalah Securities, an Abu Dhabi Group Company. Here he headed a team of 6 equity analysts covering all major sectors of the Pakistan stock market and later setup an international sales desk to attract large international institutional clients to Pakistani Equities. Usman is a passionate value investor and an avid writer on economics, investment and finance topics and contributes as a columnist for the ‘Express Tribune’ newspaper, an affiliate of the ‘International Herald Tribune’. He is a CFA charterholder and won the J.W. Fulbright Scholarship to study Masters Finance (MSc) at Boston College. He graduated with honors with a BSc Economics degree from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He has also completed 2 parts of UK-based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) program and received an award for coming first in one of the papers among nearly 9,000 students.
Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Abdulkader

Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Abdulkader is a founding partner and Executive Director of Intrepid Capital Management, where he is responsible for the business development activities of the firm. Mohammed, is an entrepreneur and heads the construction and real estate development arm of the Al-Abdulkader Group with activities in commercial & residential real estate sector in the GCC. Prior to joining Al-Abdulkader Group, Mohammed was a corporate banking executive for the Samba FInancial Group and before that he was a management strategy consultant for Roland Berger, working out of their Germany, Lebanon and UAE offices.Mohammed has a special interest for Venture Capital and Technology Investing. He studied Law at the Queen Mary University in London before completing a bachelors degree in finance from the Prince Sultan University.
Raad Abdulaziz Alabdulkader
Co-founder and Non-executive Director
Raad Abdulaziz Al-Abdulkader is a founding partner and Non-executive Director of Intrepid Capital Management where his responsibilities include the general oversight of the firm activities. Raad, is a serial entrepreneur and is currently the CEO of Al-Abdulkader Group, where he plays a lead role in developing a range of group interests ranging from wood manufacturing, Furniture retail, interior design, facilities maintenance, etc. Raad is a fervent advocate for entrepreneurship development and startups. He completed his Bachelors in Finance from the Lebanese American University.
